LEED Gold Certified hospital for advanced surgery, academic teaching facilities, and a birthing hospital. Designed as a world- class facility, incorporating the latest technology, with allowance for technologies that were in the process of being developed.

A ten-story facility, looking out to the Pacific Ocean, comprised entirely of single-patient rooms, based on evidence-based design studies which demonstrated faster recovery times and better overall patient outcomes.

And an integrated project delivery method, creating a collaborative process with the contractor to keep the $500M project on budget. I worked as a team leader to integrate high-design aesthetics of the design team into stringent technical performance required by OSHPD.
